Disprove - “In The Lab” EP (Forthcoming)

Buy this release @ Beatport: (Oct. 22nd, 2012)

Disprove, a producer based out of London, exports three high quality neurofunk cuts, and a remix from First Line Squad, for his debut release on Ammunition Recordings. With a sharp ear for mixdown and precision engineering, Disprove’s “In The Lab” EP represents quality bass music at it’s finest. Steppy percussion surrounded by floor rattling bass covers an audible spectrum that make your ears say, “Mmm, more of that please.” Tasty like a treat.

K Theory - Welcome To K Theory

I came across this fresh collection of brown dirt inspired cowboy glitch at a very odd time in the wee hours of the morning today but that didn’t stop me from scouring my closet for old cowboy boots and electric sliding all over my living room. Amazingly original sound here from the San Francisco duo K Theory, a pair of electronic music menaces taking broken beat down the road less traveled. I think I’ve rinsed the entire release of 6 incredibly well produced tunes enough times to warrant a fresh coat of shine on these boots… alright enough western jokes haha. Really worth a full listen so give these tunes a fighting chance, something about them will just make you feel good and funky I promise. Especially give “Warrior” a go at high volume, currently my favorite.
